if you dont think that refs can very much direct/control the outcome of the game, i have the same unicorn that stefania's selling.

Think whatever you want - - I give up - you are right - without the Refs, the W's would have only won by 22 instead of 30 last night - Big f'ing deal - continue wasting your time -

so angry. someone spit in your wine yesterday?

without the refs, the series wouldnt' be 1-1

You're right- the warriors would be up 2-0.

which is why if you said the series are going to 5, i would have took that bet.
Midway through the Cavs season, they looked like a dysfunctional group of individuals. Now they look like a Team. Lebron is not doing his usual 'not get back on defense while complaining about a bad call' act. His body language is 100% all in.

As TPE said last night, the East may not be strong, but 10-0 start is impressive.

Sheesh. A little harsh.

Hopefully wrong as I'm going to tomorrow's game.

For the Raps to win, they need Lowry to hit 3s and not turn it over. Even then it will be tough.

Oh yeah, they'll likely get more calls at home.

I'm still hoping they can win 1 game.

If you're happy to watch your team get blown out, because they won a series or two as the #2 seed, fine by me.

'Pressure's on the Cavs' Maybe next round

Not happy to see a blow out but rather that than not be there at all. Should we hate the team or something? They're growing and improving. That's a good thing, last time I checked.
Based upon what was going on even at the end of the regular season, I really didn't know what the Cavs would look like in the playoffs and if they would be able to deal with the West.

Obviously, something has changed.

If the other shoe doesn't drop -- and it still might -- but if it doesn't, I think they have a strong possibility of taking it all and bringing the first major sports championship to Cleveland in over 50 years.
The GS and Cavs final will be great viewing.

The entire playoffs has been painful to watch as a Raptors fan. As much as I love them, this team just doesn't have backbone. They manned up just enough to squeak through to the Eastern Finals, but the Cavs are showing up the Raps' weaknesses for all to see. We might win one of the next two games - if we have one of our "inspired" streaks and it lasts a full 48 minutes - but that's about the best I can hope for.

Have been reading the Cavs are eating together, laughing together, etc. Also adding depth with Frye has been able to make a positive change in spreading the floor. They are more of a team now and healthy as a result of improved depth.

The Warriors and OKC will beat up each other. The Cavs will likely be favored as both of the western finalists are currently playing hurt.

Go Warriors.

Well, there was an inspired 48 minutes at both ends. Great performance by the Raps.
I think this game showed how to beat the Cavs, unfortunately.

Psychological warfare. Make Kyrie become a passer and make LeBron score 40. They hate those roles. When LeBron is playing point-forward and Kyrie is playing shooting-guard-with-unusual-ball-handling-skills the Cavs are incredible; but if you make Kyrie a passer he may simply not adapt. And LeBron is almost too much of a team player.

Cavs were do for a clunker, hopefully they got it out of their system. Toronto played great, but can they get another 26 rebound effort out of Biyombo? Unlikely.

Game Four will tell if it was a one game fluke or if Toronto is going to turn this into a series

One game folks- let's pump the brakes on "this is how you beat the cavs." Blueprint or not, the cavs still have loads more talent than the raptors, and that trumps. 5 games.

Last night, the Raps simply had way more heart than the Cavs. Lebron's flop was absurd. Biyombo stuffing him was epic.

Biyombo one on one with Lebron...all night tomorrow. We'll see what he is truly made of when facing someone who is only afraid of lions Smile

ROFLMAO! Thank you for the laughs. 5 straight finals is 5 more than Beyond-bust has ever reached. Not worried about Lebron's "heart" at all. Straight comedic gold.

Lebron has never won a championship in Cleveland. He joined a winner in D Wade and surrounded himself with other stars (Bosh).

He went back to Cleveland to try bring a championship there and secure his place as an all time great...maybe the greatest ever. Again, he has surrounded himself with nice pieces.

So far, his legacy will not eclipse Kobe or MJ unless he wins another championship.

And yes...I saw it right in front of me..Lebron did not want to take Biyombo 1 on 1 last night.

Watching a game live can give you a better perspective.

Have fun rooting for Leflop!

Lol.

If you read back on my posts, you'll see that I think the Cavs take the series. My opinion has never changed. The Cavs shot poorly last night and the Raps played inspired basketball.

You'll also note that you defended a poster that said "The Raps do not have a prayer of winning a game in this series". Perhaps you should reconsider having defended that post.

Not putting any money on it...but am hoping for both series to be tied at 2 by tomorrow night.

The first part of that equation looks good so far!

Coming on here to gloat after the fact when you refused to put your money where your mouth was before the game is more than a little ridiculous and is entirely disingenuous. Your team won a game no one expected them to (even you otherwise you would have take TPE's bet), which was even more impressive given the officiating. Maybe just be happy about that.

Sorry...I don't bet anonymous sports authorities on the internet.

Btw, it was your ridiculous statement that started this all!

The Raps continue to confound me. I would have taken TPE's bet, but I didn't have a clue which Raps team would show up last night. I'm not surprised they won, but I also wouldn't have been surprised if they had crumbled.

They were helped by the Cavs inability to shoot 3s for the first two thirds of the game, but give them credit for keeping the Cavs to a perimeter game. And also for a complete offensive effort, in the paint and on the perimeter.

The Cavs run to start the 4th was inevitable, but I was impressed with the poise the Raps showed and how Lowry and DeRozan answered back, shot for shot.

Can they keep up that level of play away from the ACC? Wednesday will be interesting.

Of course that's it. It was because of anonymity and the internet, not because you didn't have any faith in your team and wanted to wait for the result to make your opinion known Roll Eyes

My statement was not ridiculous. Turns out it was wrong, but that doesn't make it ridiculous. If you saw something (and you clearly didn't given your actions/your inaction) that gave you the impression the Raptors had a hope after games 1 and 2, you must have been clairvoyant because there was nothing indicating anything but a Cleveland sweep.
