I know pricing has been brought up many times here but it seems like it just the past two years many bottles have gone from 150 to 250. I am in a few wine groups and I know all of us have really started to pass on these wines now. I don't know anyone who is really buying these cabs in the 250-300 range. Napa is really setting themselves up for a who collapse once a recession hits. The average Na[a cab today with just napa valley on the label is ABOUT 70 BUCKS..
Believe it or not there are other wine buyers outside the US.
Other wine regions in the US as well.
Yes there are other wine buyers outside the US and when Bord prices went crazy outside of France what happened??? People stopped buying and prices fell. A 100 dollar increase on a vintage is still a 100 dollar increase outside the US as well and add in tariffs to that also.
Just saying that the bigger the bubble the larger the burst.
