Any suggestions for nice dining in Napa. Prefer something outdoors but not too dressy. Price is not the main concern. Do restaurants allow you to bring your own wines. I am looking for one place for dinner and one for lunch. I am also looking for wine shops in the area. Is there any advantages to buying wine in a shop as opposed to the winery?
Thanks for your help

All restaurants in the Valley allows you to bring your own, corkage varies from free to $50.

All Seasons Bistro in Calistoga would be a good spot to hit for lunch, although they do not offer outdoor dining. However, the food is very good, and they also have a wine shop inside the restaurant that's got some interesting older wines available at a very fair price.

What type of food do you like, will be helpful in giving you recommendation for dinner.

I know you are looking for outdoor dining, but should really consider La Toque for your dinner. Great food and probably the top wine service in the valley. $18 corkage is not cheap but all the stems and decanters you can ever ask for, Riedel Vinum Extreme matched to the varietal is the restaurant's choice of stemware.
