It was really wonderful to see a recent edition of 'Wine Spectator' highlight Orange County, California and, specifically, Laguna Beach. Laguna has long been a favorite escape for me, being only about 40 minutes from me, and I was especially excited that WS touted one of my absolutely fave restaurants, Claes, in the Laguna Hotel. For any of you coming to the area over the summer, I highly recommend this place. GREAT ambiance, view to die for...lovely, lovely, lovely...
