Took my son to The Pirates! Band of Misfits.

We Bought a Zoo

Better than I expected, but what an awful movie to show on a plane.

I also saw thIs on a Plane this week. Tonight perhaps the worst movie ever. The Innkeeper. My wife enjoys horror/thrillers but had to find anything worthwhile these days.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

OK. I knew going in that people had said it was slow. I didn't mind the pacing -- some of my favorite movies are ones where very little happens -- it was more how the pacing was achieved that I didn't like (if that makes sense). I haven't read the book or any La Carre that I can recall, so maybe the choices made by the director were because of the book.

I do recall it now. Superb movie indeed. Well worth watching.

Dazed and Confused

I caught an hour plus of Ghost Writer again last night.

Easily one of the all-time top 10 movies containing world class art, and I'm now thinking top 5.

The part of the movie I caught again included Eli Wallach. What a treat!

We saw Horrible Bosses over the weekend. I like Jennifer Aniston even more now.

I never thought much of her...until I saw Horrible Bosses.

I think Aniston is a lot more attractive now in her 40s.

I liked the beginning, but the middle was boring and predictable. OK overall, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. Though Anne Hathaway is always nice to look at.

Caught the U.S. Version of Dragon Tatoo last night and agree with most if not all of you - not bad but the Swedish version is a lot better.
