KSC02, required to see soon. Excellent shots of Spain, lots of wine drinking, LOTS of serious Expressionist Art, wonderful Spanish guitar, AND beautiful women staring in the movie! Cool

I can not wait until next Spring.

Eek Penelope Cruz?! Gotta be worth seeing, if not just for her! Wink

Saw the trailor. Looks good. Thanks for the heads up. I will be sure to see this soon. Smile
Not to mention Scarlett Johannson. Props to fellow hab Ryan Reynolds, Scarjo is one hell of an upgrade from Alanis Morissette. Cool
totally agreed, and the "real" story shows he was even stupider( Big Grin) than the onscreen version. hard to imagine. but it did make one fine film. one of my favorites that year.

last night: the dead girl. i thought it was pretty good for something that went completely under my radar. Confused

I thought this was fantastic, but a lot of my friends were bored by it. Hope you enjoy it. You menionted Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I feel the same way about Daniel Day-Lewis. His performance in this movie is very impressive, and in my opinion, quite powerful.

I thought this was better then super troopers ...

Meow.

Super Troopers had its moments. The maple syrup chugging scene for example. Big Grin

Last night I treated to the kids to back-to-back showings of
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
and
Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey
The first was clearly superior. Wink Popcorn

King of California

and Super Troopers is WAY better than Beerfest.

I liked King of California, but I was shocked at how skinny and wasted Michael Douglas looked in it. I hope he just did that for the role.

I assume the look was for the roll, he fit it well. He really impressed me, I never really gave him credit but that was some acting.

The girl was very good as well.

Largely in English, but when it switches to Hebrew or Arabic there are subtitles, of course.
A wonderful movie....sentimental, funny, warm, clever. All wrapped into 90 minutes or so.
Netflix.
I recommend this.

Excellent movie.
