The Town---overall interesting, perhaps little far-fetched. Did have several very heart-stopping moments.

IMO, Gone Baby Gone was much better for Boston crime theme.

I didn't like it at all. I thought the movie just beat the viewer over the head with a silly premise.

Same here. Loved Peter Sellers, but I always thought it a shame this was one of his last movies.

Cool

I refuse to watch Salma Hayek, who is one of the most beautiful women in the world IMO, with a unibrow! Mad

I liked it. Frankly, I have no problem with Peter Sellers movies with silly premises.

PH
His best movies had ridiculous premises, but I don't think his talents were used well in Being There. Actually, I'd say he was miscast.

+1
Saw "The Kings Speech" tonight. It was very very good, and Colin Firth should get the Oscar for Best Actor. Huge and difficult role, played stunningly well, and the Academy favors Brits.

That is what I have heard. I'm debating if it is worthy of my Netflix Q.
The Girl Who Played With Fire. Even though the book & movie were not in the same class as the first in the trilogy, I still really enjoyed this movie. And now, I will begin reading the last book.

I gotta' ask, gig. When you picked this up off the shelf, did you say to yourself,
"Damn, this just might be worth watching?" Razz

It was recommended by a zombie-loving friend of mine.

We streamed it on Netflix. It was actually quite entertaining. Bill Murray's cameo was hilarious.

Have this on DVD but haven't watched it yet. Happy to hear it was entertaining
