If you enjoyed this movie ( I always have) you need to check out the new series on TV, Rubicon.

It is a movie that I have viewed many times, and I continue to enjoy it thoroughly. I happened upon it today on AMC, and I was compelled to abandon my other plans and watch it to the end. Smile

Check out Rubicon. (AMC)
The Kids are All Right
Exceptional.

Mia Wasisowska (sp?) is the heart of this movie while Mark Ruffalo, Julianne Moore and Annette Bening are all exceptional.

W+A, while you, like me, will take exception to a particular sentence, there is a scene in this movie you will have an even more profound appreciation of than most.

This is an incredibly good movie... better than any movie released last year.

The ability to create real, flawed, sympathetic characters... just, wow...

I caught about 3/4 of the movie on AMC too. Planned to watch Rubicon last night too, but got sidetracked so I'll see it through the "on demand" channel some time this week.

Thoughts?

About what you expect. Some funny parts, some boring parts, too long. If you like Flight of the Conchords, not surprisingly Jemaine Clement steals the film for me.

If you like this type of film, you'll enjoy it. If not, you will hate it (more than some of the others). FKG (f/k/a MLV) and I had a good time - always nice when you can have a nice glass of riesling in the theatre for a summertime fluff movie
