Has anyone seen The Art of the Steal?

I do understand that Winetarelli and MJAlbers may be the only other forum members curious to see this movie, but thought I would ask anyway.

When the Italian off-line was in Philly a couple of years ago, several of our group went to the Barnes Foundation one afternoon, and the fiery debate had taken center stage.

Barnes had very strong opinions and views on art,and the role of art in the public domain.

It seems culture has become big business, and Dr. Barnes wishes and demands have fallen victim to revisionist history, in my opinion.

All this said, the Barnes collection is brilliant and priceless in my opinion, yet with an appraised value well north of $25 billion, the culture whores could not overlook this opportunity, regardless of Dr. Barnes mandate.
I was not aware of this movie being out. If you decide to see it, I would enjoy hearing your take. If there is significant coverage of the collection alone, this would be reason enough.

latour67, I have now seen this movie twice.

You have keen insight in your movie selection. Cool

Zombieland, a rental for some lighthearted fun.

Anyone seen Green Zone yet?

Haha, I watched Zombieland last night, too.

Woody Harrelson was actually decent...entertaining enough movie.

They also enjoy a '97 BV GdL in the movie..

It pairs well with Twinkies... Wink

Did you expect a Ben Stiller movie to be good? Confused He probably irritates me more than any other actor out there these days.

Last night we watched Brothers. Not bad, but speaking of irritating actors... Tobey Maguire.

You do realize you used Ben Stiller and actor in the same post Steve. Red Face
