Glad you did. We gave up on it last week after about 45 minutes. Just not feeling this movie on that night.

I really liked it also.
But it is one of those movies that you have to want to watch.
Reservoir Dogs.

I enjoy the town of Bruges so much, I was going to watch regardless.

Fierce Creatures
Maybe not as intellectually funny as A Fish Called Wanda but a brilliant and criminally overlooked comedy, imo. This was the 5th or so time I've seen it and I laughed out loud at several moments.

OW! MY EAR!

The Hangover. Funny stuff, especially in a shock humor kind of way.
Public Enemies: **
The Hangover...very funny. It is tough to find many movies that make you really laugh out loud throughout the movie - and everyone else in the theater also laughing. I still am partial to Old School & Wedding Crashers for some of these style movies over the past few years, but that could change with repeated watchings.
Defiance (pretty good)

Alexa Davalos.

La fille de Monaco. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
i watched "300" and "meet the spartans" back to back.

The book was hilarious.
Shawshank Redemption - again... what an excellent movie

I could not even guess how many times I have seen the movie, or parts of it.

"burn after reading" - what a waste of time.
I'm sitting in my recliner reading over the weekend when my daughter and her boyfriend pop in "Fired Up". It was completely juvenile (think Porky's) but pretty witty. I tried to maintain my facade of reading, but damn, this movie made me laugh. It feels so wrong...

Hmmm...this one is sitting on the DVR waiting on me to watch it.
You Don't Mess With the Zohan
I probably could have done without it...
I probably could have done without it...
and i had such good expectations even after the so-so reviews...hopefully you can find some redeeming quality in it...

I laughed pretty hard at a couple parts...a typical, bizarre Cohen bros movie fwiw...

I could say that of any Adam Sandler movie.
Prediction
Save your time and money. A complete 'B' movie.
I've given up on Nicholas Cage.

I loved that movie. Laughed throughout.
The Court Jester
Haven't seen it in about 10 years, time to re-visit. (Got the idea from a post on another board about a 'vessel' and couldn't stop thinking about the 50 second patter about the pellet with the poison.)
Also on tap this weekend:
The Adventures of Robin Hood - not the crappy Kevin Costnar movie, but the REAL one, with Errol Flynn.
This week: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince -- currently at 96% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes! (And Peter Travers, who hasn't written his review yet, apparently loved it, too.)
Also on tap for this week: Chinatown
Eclectic tastes in movies, no?

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner -- one of many times to watch this film. Great dialogue and one of my all time favorites.
