My wife and I saw this last night. I think she even laughed more than me. The photos at the end were hilarious!

I am generally not a movie fan, at least not as my primary form of entertainment. However, as my wife is recovering from some surgery, we've watched many in the last five days.

I recently saw seven pounds and new in town at the second run theatre. Enjoyed both but thought new in town was a little cheesey.

Doubt is on deck tonight; that is if we get to it. Overnight rentals do not work in this household!

Movies filmed on trains seems to work often.

On the plane the last couple of days:

The International – Typical dark Clive Owen drama, but it kept me entertained.

Mall Cop – I was falling in and out of sleep during this one. Obviously juvenile, but I did laugh a few times….

Bride wars – Could only stand about 30 mins of this before I went back to my ipod. I don’t find Anne Hathaway attractive and while I do think Kate Hudson is cute, she is nowhere near hot enough to suffer through this movie. Avoid at all costs.

haha, I know it's not a popular position. She seems to have plenty of fans. She is just beyond plain jane to me. Like girl next door, but so plain you don’t know she is next door. She has become a decent actress though...

That scene still ranks as one of the greatest ever put on film imho. 5'9"???

IIRC, according to a documentary on the man, Kubrick let Ermey ad-lib that scene.

Although possibly futile and certainly subjective, I don't know how you can debate who is the greatest film director of all time and not include the name Stanley Kubrick in the conversation.

Could not agree more - was a total estrogen fest on the flight back from Milan and I was treated to the first 10 minutes of He's Just Not That Into to You (would have been the best of the lot) until they had some problem and stopped that - followed by Confessions of a Shopaholic - which was dreadful like a Lifetime movie but I watched it anyway and then Bride Wars - the worst of the lot - I think I only laster 15 minutes though - Crapola. MLV watched the whole thing and confirmed its crappitude.

Ali G - Indahouse.

I do occasionally find the humor of Cohen funny, but this piece of dreck may have been the worst movie ever.

Vicky Christina Barcelona. - not a bad movie, but just no ending whatsoever. I am not sure if this is just a Woody Allen style of ending, but I enjoyed it up to the end when it just

The Code. Love Morgan Freeman, but this was disappointing. Basically another Ocean's Eleven, Twelve, Thirteen... without the huge cast.
