Excellent as always...

I finally saw William Friedkin's remake of this, after decades of knowing about it, The Sorcerer. It was poorly reviewed when it came out in 1977, lost money, and ruined Friedkin's rising star, from which he never really recovered. I liked it very much and would give it a 90. It is highly recommended.

Not sure I have ever seen that film, thanks.

I’m in the mood to explore the works of Clouzot ( the French Hitchcock) once again.

I'm a fan. I know you've seen, Les Diaboliques, but be sure to check out his earlier work Le Corbeau. It was made in France during the Occupation and caused Clouzot trouble from both sides. Also La Vérité the movie that made Bridget Bardot "an actress."

Oh, I have indeed and agree!
Thor Ragnarok

For the first half or more of the film was bored and thought of walking out, but some of the humour was pretty good, as was Jeff Goldblum. Then the ultimate fight scene playing out to Led Zep's Immigrant Song was rather epic so I hung in there.

But not recommended, not even in IMAX 3D. If you enjoy wrestling matches and story lines you might like it.

Hoping for the best with the documentary, Jeremiah Tower: The Last Magnificent

Can't wait to watch this. One of my best friends worked for him in the 90's at Starz in San Francisco.

Loved the Jeramiah Tower movie / documentary. Anyone else watch and thoughts? Seemed to portray a very lonely individual throughout...and not a good swan song at Tavern on the Green. Extremely charismatic individual.

Saw Murder on the Orient Express on Sunday. Not sure how I feel about it - cast was amazing and I enjoyed it, just not as much as I thought I would. Seems they set things up for a sequel at the end, so we'll see.

I felt the same way after seeing it. Good, but not great by any stretch of the imagination. Both of my teenage kids enjoyed it, which surprised me, I thought it would be a little too slow for them.

I just watched it today and was entertained. JT definitely has a high opinion of himself. Tavern on the Green was an interesting choice and I’m guessing it was the challenge of it that really drew him to it.
