IMO,
Of the Marvel Studios-produced movies so far*:
#1: The Avengers
<big gap>
#2: Iron Man
<big gap>
#3: Captain America: The Winter Soldier
<big gap>
#4: Iron Man 3
#5: Iron Man 2
Both Thor movies and the first Captain America movie are mediocre at best.
Strictly speaking, only The Avengers is a "great" flick, and only Iron Man is a "very good" flick. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is very good within the context of the genre and the two Iron Man sequels are decent popcorn / mindless entertainment / movies to pass the time whilst on an airplane deals.
*The Spider-Man movies are not produced by Marvel Studios, but rather co-produced by Marvel Enterprises and are, in fact, Sony-based productions whereas the others mentioned are Disney-based productions (and part of the theatrical "Marvel Universe"). Spider-Man 2 was very strong and The Amazing Spider-Man was strong as well. Spider-Man was good and a bit of a game-changer. Spider-Man 3 was dreck.
I've never seen a good movie based on a comic book, except for Ghost World.

You guys must have missed Nicholas Cage's epic portrayal of Ghostrider.
Bad Boys 30 for 30. Excellent.
Agreed on Bad Boys. I hated those guys when they played, but they were entertaining. Almost all of the 30 for 30 or SEC Storied shows are well done.

How could I forget the Citizen Kane of comic book movies?

Interesting. I enjoyed Avengers and Iron Man but the Iron Man sequels sucked. I would put any X-Men movie over those. Even the first Wolverine. The Wolverine sequel sucked too.
I will save Thor for Netflix, preferably streaming.

I obviously enjoyed it as well. But, as a surprise, my wife even watched it. She had planned on falling asleep during it but said it was too entertaining to stop watching.

The Watchmen certainly is a movie with a lot of ideas in it. Heck, just the opening sequence to Dylans The Times They Are A Changin' is worth the effort to see.
But I'm not sure that judged purely as a film it is that great.

Seduced and abandoned....appearently it's very difficult to get a movie made/financed these days.

Guys, trust me.
The Watchmen is only of the many movies that tried to literally fit a whole (in this case graphic) novel word for word into one movie. It almost worked.
That said it IS one of the few well done comic based movies and has a depth that most would kill for. Rorschach is particularly well done.
That and good Toronto girl Malin Akerman is pretty easy on the eyes as Silk Spectre.

The Budapest Grand Hotel. Very enjoyable.
Trance - complex crime thriller by Danny Boyle. Worth watching with great visuals.
Noah. I liked it. Not sure how accurate it was though.
