The Directors cut, in my opinion, is better. They don't have the crappy voice over and the ending is darker (i.e., more bleak). The only downside is that it is slightly less ambiguous about Deckard (is he or isn't he?)

FWIW: I think this is a good movie and worth seeing for the pop culture aspect. But I agree with KCS02 that it probably isn't in your sweet spot.

The Hunger Games - not great but enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Bernie - had read the true story in Texas Monthly but forgot they made a movie out of it. Interesting approach with locals playing a lot of supplemental roles. Good movie.

Actually... I prefer Fellowship in the theatrical release; Return of the King I am mixed on, but I much prefer the director's cut of The Two Towers. As it stands, I only made it through Fellowship last night...

Act of Valor - I guess I would rather watch highly paid actors portray a stylized version of reality. I did not enjoy this very much.
