There is a great documentary about the making of this movie, and the guy who wrote the screenplay, and his trying to sell it. He was a bartender who served Harvey Weinstein a drink. I'll try to find the name of it.

Overnight is the title, it's much better than the actual movie.

Same here. I thought it was pretty good. Ryan Gosling seems to be doing a lot of movies these days.

Agreed. Drive is coming up soon in the Netflix queue. Looking forward to that one.

Incendies - brilliant!

the French movie or the American traditional?
The Scorcese film with De Niro and Cybill Shepherd. I didn't know there was a French one?

My bad. I was thinking of TAXI Directed by Gérard Pirès and starring Samy Naceri & Frédéric Diefenthal.
Contagion last night. It was OK but i thought it would be better given the flixster ratings.
Ides of March - Liked it.
180 South - Great documentary. Although they could have trimmed it down a bit.

Hulk
The 2003 Eric Bana version. I think PURPLE has a thing for Eric Bana.

Ghost World
Love and Other Drugs. Eh.
Outlander - a different take on the Beowulf classic.
The Grey - Good flick, but definitely not a feel-good movie by any means.

I'm curious how this is as well. Likely the next on my list to see in the theater.

I like it. It's a nice action movie.
However, not so sure with Ryan Reynold. I don't think he is suitable with this kind of movie.
On a side note, Denzel drank Petrus and Latour in this movie

Coffy.

The Help.
Midnight in Paris - Loved it. Might seek out other Woody Allen movies.
Something Borrowed
Nice little simple formula, sappy love story.

Star Trek
Interesting how they tied things together for a prequel. I was a big fan of the original as a kid and even though it was sorta hokey I enjoyed it from a nostalgic standpoint.

Safe House....I liked it, the wife did not even though she likes action movies.

I watched this last night for the first time and, though a bit hokey (as you mentioned), I was thoroughly entertained. I've never seen any other Star Trek movies, and didn't get too into the old TV series, so this was a nice surprise.
As someone who worked in the film industry as a sound effects edition, this Star Trek movie definitely had it going on... great sound effects editing.
