Nope...I have found that 40 - 55 are the best years, and without debate. Cool
Not that I have a ton of experience, but I definitely feel I enjoy life more as each day passes. I'd agree with the phrase 'life begins at 40.'

Really? I am convinced that my years in college were the best years of my life.

I read an article a while back that for many people, happiness is like the letter "U". People are happy at a young age, then become less happy, bottoming out at around 40-50, and then progessively becoming happier again as they enter the retirement years.

Not bad. Eva Mendes is some nice eye candy. And any chance to see Sam Elliot as a cowboy again is great.

You were right - the best parts were Eva and Sam, the rest was pretty hokey...

More importantly, after seeing all the posts about Girl With the Dragon Tatoo I watched the Swedish version and gotta say "Wow!". Haven't read any of the books nor have I seen the U.S. remake, however I will now.

Glenn,

I agree; however, I think this was prior to all her work being done as it was released in 2003. She looked pretty good. Sad to see how she looks now as well as some other Hollywood people. With all that money they can't find a good plastic surgeon?

I think she's always been a hrrible actress, but if you want to want to see plastic surgery gone awry, check out Mary Tyler Moore and Carol Burnett. They look like clowns with their mouths stretched from ear to ear.

Really enjoyed this movie and how they used the location and local actors.

Great flick. Check out some of Woodrell's books. His clip with Anthony Bourdain on No Reservations is also pretty neat.

King,

Funny you should mention that. I fall into the "movie is usually no where near as good as the book" camp, so I thought if the film was this good I should check out the book/author.
