For a bottle to be consumed within months, how long would it need to stay in 78 F heat (in the shade) before you became concerned?  I assume 6 hours is less than your number?  Hopefully.

6 Hours is way less than the number that would cause concern.  At 78 degrees, the wine is not going to be heated enough to push the cork up the bottle.  

 

I had a shipment come in the other day and right off of the Fed-Ex truck it was a little warn to the touch...no leakage of wine.  I chilled one down and drank it that night and it was fabulous.
