Firm tannins on both. Nice wines, but after a decade, still a bit young for my taste.
Tried the 2012 Portfolio last night. A bit more advanced than the 2013 we had a few weeks ago. Another nice wine, showing well with a thick steak, twice-baked potatoes and a chopped salad.

2016 Carlisle Zinfandel Mancini Ranch
Cremant de nashik tropicale. This rose sparkler comes from India. Made with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and chenin blanc. I do not know the percentage of each. Was $40 in an upscale Indian restaurant here.
a little strawberry nose, light rose petals.
never had this before but will try to find it at the store. 86-88 points
