Lemon Chicken Piccata

Hey everyone.

I'm cooking dinner for a good friend next weekend and I'm looking for a good wine to pair with it.

I'm making Lemon Chicken Piccata, steamed asparagus and garlic bread. Its got a medium lemon flavor in the sauce so I thought I'd pair it with a nice sweet/light wine. I was thinking Sauvignon Blanc, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Can someone suggest a wine which you think would go well with this dish? Prefferably a brand as well as a type.

Welcome, Payne. A New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or a moderately sweet Riesling would be fine. Go a little light on the lemon.

I agree with Board-O, you would'nt go wrong with a a NZ SB. As far as a brand, Kim Crawford is always a good choice.
