That was a price error. Should have caught it.

I bought 6... the limit. I’m very well expecting the “the product didn’t arrive from the supplier, sorry, here is your deposit back” email from the communists at the lcbo... payment requirement  was just a deposit with the balance due when the wines ship in winter 2022... looks like the price posted was the recent price of the 2013 Latour... I really wonder if they will honour it.

I should be frustrated, however the LCBO saved me more than $1,000 today on wines I was ready to buy, but couldn't.  Will I spend that $1,000 on other wines - no, I'll put that toward condo renos.

Can't think of another retailer that has as many gaps and inefficiencies in their business model - but it's government, so incompetence and mediocrity gets rewarded with positions on the Sunshine List.  Most of the folks on the Sunshine List are cops and LCBO management, you know...

I was able to get everything I had on my list because I had two tabs open in the internet and tried to access every minute while doing other work. So I got in quickly while I suspect many gave up. I was late signing in at 8:30 so I benefited from this mess. Does not seem right that it just opens up when it’s fixed. Perhaps they should delay release 24 hours when this happens (it will again, this is not first time). So though I am happy with my pol roger, I think the recovery from this could be improved. Thoughts?

I had to drive to my parents' place yesterday morning, but delayed my departure until I could do my 8:30 VSO purchase. I was actually pleased that the site went down, as it saved me a bunch of money.

I pulled into the parking lot at my parent's building around 9:40 AM, and seconds later I got a message from others in the TO crew that the VSO site was up again.  Suspiciously convenient timing. I think the KGBO paid the Gates Foundation for access to the microchip in my COVID vaccine.

Anyway, I got the wines I wanted.

Hmm. Where you also on a 5G network tower?

This Classics release was the latest comedic shit-show brought to you by our atherosclerotic government liquor monopoly.  When the web site was finally resuscitated, I got all my purchases into the shopping cart and then promptly lost them when I went to check out.  It takes a certain kind of ineptitude and dedication to the demonstration of congenital incompetence to work in the IT department at the liquor monopoly.  I can only marvel at how badly it works and how complacent people here are.

Next month I'll take the gloves off and tell you how I really feel about the LCBO!
