I think we paid as little as $35 at Picasso a couple of years ago

That's what we paid. I brought a magnum in a magnum decanter. If you go there, when you make your reservation, request a table overlooking the fountains.

We did that and they told us it was not possible to promise since there are very few - only 3 as I recall - that do. So we made a reservation for the time they opened, were there 5 minutes before that, and got the primo table of the bunch!

Currently $50 and you have to call to make sure the wine isn't on their list; they do not publish it on line.

That's why God made decanters.

IMHO That is deceitful when you do that. If I ran a restaurant, I would disallow anyone bringing in a decanter. Or I would charge double corkage, as it is obvious that you are sneaking something by.
