Kosta Browne wines

I have never tried any of the Kosta Browne wines. I know asking the forum for a recommendation will at least start a good discussion on which should be my first sampling!

Since I am not on their allocation list, I will have to go to the intranet to find the wines.
What price ranges should I expect?

$100 - $140 for the Appellation wines, $140 - $350's for their SVD.

Good luck finding anything but the appelation bottlings. I'm still holding mine for a few more months before I try them.

I'm on their list, but the hype and price hikes are becoming troublesome. Very expensive late entry to this party - and I just made under the wire (pre big ratings last year)

Still, if I wasn't on their list, I'd go elsewhere to other producers. I'll never pay $150 for California Pinot (regardless of rating), so it's mailer or nothing for me.

Since I do not believe luxury items ever really come down in price (still waiting for the 18,000 BMW) I will hang on until I get at least a small allocation from KB. I'm too nuts on Pinot Noir to be able to let go. The best I can hope for is for the prices to not hike up too much (another relative term).

One series showing up fairly soon, maybe not 18k but in the 20s. I like the 335s myself; but if someone wants to buy me an M5 I'd be very grateful.

You could look north for better Pinot Noir and not worry about pay retail or aftermarket prices for KB.

Heck, you can have my allocation next year if I don't have a better experience next bottle..all you have to do is pay for my case of Shea Wine Cellars

north = Oregon...best pinot in US unless you name is James Laube
