This was one of those 'let's try it for the hell of it' purchases on winebid for $5. I was pleasantly surprised. The wine retained lots of dark, inky color. I can only speculate that it was a tad past its prime, yet it showed a range of currant, stewed plum and had a medium length finish of the same flavors. Definately had some rustic qualities, wish I'd drank it with food. (4)
