2012 Secret de Grand Bateau Blanc. A bordeaux blanc, rumored to be declassified wine from a first growth estate, i.e. Margaux, Mouton, or Haut Brion. No complaints at $7 per bottle.
2013 Stefania Crimson Clover Cab
Just entering drinking window but wow was this good. I’m ashamed to say I haven’t bought anything from Paul and Stef for a while but I shall rectify that soon.
2017 Gulfi Nerojbleo - beautiful stuff!
2019 Miraval, Cotes de Provence, Rosé

2010 Chateau Larose Perganson (solid budget Bordeaux )
2017 sandler 10th anniversary pinot
2014 Bosquet des Papes CdP Chante le Merle
2016 San Felice Chianti Classico.
Tonight with some excellent sushi, NV Varnier Fanniere Champagne Grand Cru Cuvee St Denis, just lovely. Will be buying more.
2007 Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Elisabeth
2015 Mount Eden Cabernet Sauvignon
2009 Kir Yianni Paranga white
2018 Envinate Benje Tenerife white
nv Tselepos Amalia méthode Traditionnelle (very convincing Greek sparkling wine)
2018 Honoro Vera Garnacha. My wife wanted something to make herself some Sangria with. Pleasant enough to sip on its own, and scratches the young, fruity, spicy itch.
2017 Pali White Cap
2017 Terragena Pinot Abbassi Vineyard
2017 Domaine Arnoux Chorey-les-Beaune Les Beaumonts - last bottle of 12 - too bad
2016 Colombera & Garella Coste della Sesia Cascina Cottignano
2015 Coudert Fleurie Clos de la Roilette - a bit disapointing. This came off more sweet/candied and heavy than other vintages while lacking in the non-fruit aspects of the palate.
2013 Zind-Humbrecht Riesling

Last night, 2017 Pascal Jolivet Pouilly Fumé Terres Blanches, one the nicest Sauvignon Blancs I've had in a long time. Bought the last 8 bottles I could find in my city this morning; this is an excellent summer wine, balanced and tasty, good accompaniment to the fish and seafood that we focus on in the summer.
Tonight, 2018 Breezette Rosé Cotes de Provence, a wine shop recommendation that's a bit disappointing, candied peach/apricot flavours, slightly cloying, needs more acidity to balance the somewhat sweet flavours. The name should have been a warning to me.
A lot of Ridge stuff in July
loved the 2017 Lytton Springs, 2017 Pagani Ranch, 2017 Three Valleys, 2017 Petite Sirah
2016 Chateau Buena Vista Cabernet
Absolutely loved the My Favorite Neighbor 2016 blend.
2012 Girard Artistry
Recent highlights:
1992 Dunn Howell Mountain - Second to last. Of the 5 I've had, this one was far and away the winner. Just a beautiful wine and one of my fav vintages.
1996 Paleo - This bottle was fading.
2017 Castellare Chianti Classico
2012 Francois Cotat La Grande Cote - Lovely
2015 Chamboulé, Chardonnay, NTE
2008 Peter Michael Ma Belle Fille -still holding, wonderful
2016 Chateau De Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape
2019 Chapoutier Bila-Haut Rose. Fairly typical “Provence-style” pink juice. Nose of watermelon and peach. Flavors of watermelon, tart berries, orange peel and dried herbs. It should go well with pasta salad in a bit. The main downside is a slightly bitter finish.
2007 R. Lopez de Heredia Bosconia rioja
2010 Edi Kante Vitovska Selezione

2013 Stefania Santa Cruz Cabernet Sauvignon. My first of three. It’s giving me high hopes if the acid stays in check.
Recently:
2016 Faury Cote-Rotie (exceptional, especially for the price)
2017 Melville Pinot Noir Sandy's Block (excellent, balanced)
2017 Denis Bachelet Cote de Nuits Villages (very good, but underwhelming relative to hopes)
2014 Pegau CdP Reservée (worth the reduced -- $45 -- tariff, better in 3 years)
2015 Bernard Baudry Chinon les Granges
