2010 Poggio al Tesoro Dedicato a Walter

Verdict? Ready?

I'd say so, although it seemed a bit young still.  I liked it better than the 07 and 08 vintages which I drank recently.

Opened one tonight. Agreed: it's an excellent wine and drinking well, but could benefit from a few more years of taming.

Now that's a good night of drinking.  The '93 Forman was amazing (a birth year wine for my son), and the '92 was no slouch either.  I still look for these and snap them up when I get the chance.

2013 Francois Cotat, Sancerre, Les Culs de Beaujeu

Note to self: keep more Sancerre until 5+ years past its vintage. This was really delicious.
