Was this the Warhol? If not, could you discern a difference?

It was indeed the Warhol label.

I have been told there is a difference due to disgorgement dates, but I do not know that for sure.

We need to taste them side by side. Big Grin

Indeed!
Happy to provide the "regular" label.

max, great lineup, and thanks for posting. I hope you said hello to latour from the forum.

As for the Certan de May, always an early maturing wine based on my experience. I'm surprised it was showing anything.

Thanks again for the post.
Yes, Latour67 mentioned about he and Board-0's recent conversation over the phone so I then told Latour67 about all the forumites asking about him.

He appreciates all the well wishes and concerns.

How was the Azelia San Rocco, Steve?

Delicious, but starting to show some signs of age. This bottle was not quite as good as the one I opened back in 2008. I think I am going to be drinking my 2000's sooner than later, as Galloni suggested.

Thanks Steve. I'm going to be checking in on more 2000s as the year progresses. 2000 Paolo Scavino Barolo and 2000 Pio Cesare Barbaresco were both delicious this weekend.

i really enjoyed it. i've had Lanson's Black in the past (on your recommendation, if i recall) and liked it quite a bit. a LWS just blew some out for $19.99 so I cleaned them out.

there's a creaminess to this wine that I've never found in a sub-$50 champagne (is "creaminess" acceptable winespeak?) that i really love.
