NV Jacques Selosse Version Originale Champagne.

A breathtaking bottle of wine!

Followed our Champagne with the 2007 Clos Mogador Nelin Priorat White.

Both wines were excellent with our Paella.

Your opinion of the Nelin?

We had a wonderful 2001 JJ Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese.

Gigond Ass, how did the 2000 Chapoutier Blanc Le Meal show?

It was good, but seems to be in that middling state for Hermitage blanc. I would suggest holding for several years. The 2004 I had earlier this year was much better at this time.

It's pretty much a one-of-a-kind, made from Garnacha Blanca, Roussane, Viognier, Macabeo, and Pinot Noir. If there's anybody lese making a wine from those grapes, I'm unaware of them.

By the way, I believe Winex carries this wine.

Fantastic! Golden/amber patina. Honey, orange and maybe even the slightest hint of cinnamon. Very smooth and, while not d'yquem, not too far off either.

Luckily, I still have one bottle left.
