Overall a good event. 2015 BdM/Italia? Believe the hype! All the wines we tasted were good and a few were ethereal. Many of the '15 BdM had a distinct perfumed nose. It smelled like a sandalwood based perfume.

My hands down WOTN was the '15 Uccelliera BdM. Flashy and modern but still showing it's Italian roots.

Other standouts: '10 Valdicava BdM and the Madonna del piano; Antinori Chianti classico Passignano and Guado All Tasso (superb); Alberto Voerzio Barbera d'Alba; '17 Pieropan Soave Classico La Rocca (I imagine as good as Soave Classico can get.); Umani Ronchi Verdicchio riserva; Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta brut (Champagne like).

Thank you.  I'm considering picking up a few.  This is a perennial favorite producer of mine in the more modern but still thoroughly Italian vein.
