Way too early? It's December. When do you want it to start? March?

Thanks for the sympathy

yours. It was freezing this morning. Up to 34 this afternoon. Feels balmy in comparison.

Yes. And end in March. Preferably the same week.
will be about 32 degrees or so tonight at the kickoff of the Jets v. Ravens game in Baltimore.
Chilly for us, was 55 this morning when I walked the dogs - supposed to go down to 43 tonight
Its not supposed to get above 55 in Scottsdale today
You poor bastards!

Bill, don't feel bad. One lives in the place with the worst summers ever and the other lives in the place with even worse summers.

I love my summers. Especially all year round
Actually I spend my summers in Utah near Park City. 😀
Many of the Zonies come here to escape the heat. Not a terrible idea for Floridians wanting to escape the heat AND humidity.
Upper teens this morning for the first time this year. My trip to fetch the paper in my shorts and flip flops was expedited.

Look out for falling iguanas! The National Weather Service is warning South Florida residents of a potential lizard blizzard due to low temperatures. The cold makes iguanas so sluggish and lifeless they often tumble out of trees, but don't be fooled: They're still very much alive.
Saw one this morning while walking the dogs
Was 35 this morning while walking the dog. She seemed to enjoy it a little more than I. Luckily, unlike south Florida, we aren't infested with iguanas here in the Tampa area, though like south Florida we are infested with Northerners

And the infectious Northerner’s complain that it is too cold here. Heck, it is a lot warmer here than where they came from.
5 or so inches of snow so far, changing over to sleet for a bit. Should be over by 4 a.m.
When it's cold enough to store that Pfizer vaccine outside, let us know.
78 with a real feel of 86 today.

The Floridians seem to like to pipe in with their weather whenever cold temps are mentioned. I live in the part of the US with the climate usually cited as among the best in the world, with one very big advantage--It's not Florida!
20 degrees this morning in Western Maryland when I went out to walk the dog.
27 here (Baltimore) this morning when I walked the dog. He seems to like the cold, but then, he has a fur coat on.
17 this morning when I walked the dog. Brrr.
Come down to Florida. Yeah, we got Covid, but it's warm outside!
was 17-21 past two nights in dfw area
-32c at our cottage this morning, water pipe going to the lake froze and keeps tripping the beaker for the heating coil wrapped around it. Kids and wife aren't happy.
Not as bad as in the city though. It's -19c and -24c with the wind chill and I"m working in our house while getting a new boiler put in. Water is off and it's -6 in most of the house (the library has a fire going and a oil radiator so it's a balmy 15ish degrees).
It is freezing outside. The only thing i want to do is to stay in my bed with my warm blanket and hot ginger tea. Another option is a long hot bath with my favorite essential oils https://volantaroma.se/ and candles.
going to 47 sunday night Winter in SoFla
At our mountain getaway it is getting down to about 0 Fahrenheit. But we’re home in Baltimore where it was a balmy 13 this morning.
Was 50 here in Key West this morning. Brrrrr. Was cold on the tennis courts today
33 here decided not to play golf due to frost on greens

I'm so tired of these Floridians who always stick a comment in here when anyone mentions how cold it it where they live and how nice it where the commenter lives. Let's get this straight: Florida is the worst place on earth (and I'm not even talking about the politics.) Rains day after day, months on end, unbearable heat and humidity. Bugs that can eat your face off and occasional man-eating reptiles. Pretty much the weather sucks from April to September (unless you like to sweat a lot.)
Let's look at southern California. Were I live today it's 65. Yesterday it was 70. These are our winter averages. In general where I live a hot day in the summer is 85 (and usually with low humidity.) A cold day is in the upper 50s. Humidity is only high here about 10 to 15 days a year. We only have 7.5 inches a year of rain. In Key West--45 inches from more than 100 rain days a year. If you look up the best climates in the world San Diego is always at least in the top 10 if not top 5. Florida? You can have it.
