Never liked the talk about wind chill. I believe it's being used more and more--I don't remember any talk of it in my youth. That said today it's 71.49F here with the wind chill.

Thanks to the insulating effect of the surrounding Great Lakes, it is only supposed to get down to -5 tonight (-17 wind chill) here in Mid-Michigan.

It was -29c yesterday at the cottage, it has warmed up to -28 this morning.

Thankfully my neighbor helped with his snow thrower for clearing my driveway. Not as cold as folks up north, but at 14 degrees my finger tips were hurting after 40 minutes of being outside. That's with ski gloves!
