3-5 inches tonight, 5-8 inches tomorrow, close to a foot predicted by Sunday and bloody cold; WTF!

M, life is way too short just to eliminate 25% of any given year due to weather.

Oh, I'm playing golf today, and will be dining alfresco tonight.

You really should think about your choices. Wink

M, life is way too short just to eliminate 50% of any given year due to weather. Corrected (Oct-Mar)

Oh, I'm playing golf today, and will be dining alfresco tonight. ...does salt in the wound count towards my dietary sodium intake for 2010? Red Face

I find painting to be very therapeutic during these months...

The good news is our summers are much better than yours--and another plus--I'm not living in Texas.

Do you use my favorite colors, Blue & Orange, in your paintings? Razz
...yes! Razz

My mom bought me a UF orange polo shirt for my birthday. When I opened it, I just looked at her and asked for the gift reciept. She had no clue why. When I explained, I was told I was an a$$hole and should be more appreciative. She's probably right but I dont care.

Boys - this is great drinking weather! Hard to beat a nice fire and a glass of port while watching it snow. I'm thinking a 76 Niepoort Colheita would pair nicely with a storm of this caliber Cool
I'm actually looking forward to this cold snap. I need a nice freeze to get the backyard rink in skate-able condition. It was too warm this earlier this week. I would have preferred to have a solid freeze BEFORE the snow, 'cause now I'll have some pretty crappy ice that will need more work with the hose.

Overall, I can't complain, though. The spruces in the backyard are looking very Christmas-like right now. And just another counter to the smarta$$ jabs from you warm-weather sissies, I haven't seen an insect for two months now. No snakes, neither.
Just responded to an email from my uncle in Minnesota talking about the Metrodome and the nearly two feet of snow they just got. I replied that I hoped he stayed warm and dry, but it was hard for me to relate, as I was at the beach yesterday where it was a sunny 75, as it is today. No insects at the beach either as there was a nice breeze too, which made for some nice Frisbee against the wind. (Chicks dig watching boomarang Frisbee) Cool

Cheer up PH, go buy some Cross Country skis and play in it. I've got mine waxed and ready to go. Unfortunately, I have to go to work in an hour, or I'd be out there right now.

How many girls do that in bikinis? Razz

Not many, but there's always the hot tub afterwards!

Boy oh boy, does this have a very different meaning in Dallas than in Saginaw. Red Face

Get your head out of the gutter. Even the SoCal crowd can understand what I meant without too much trouble!

Although there are parts of town where your definition is probably more applicable...

Alright guys, the Metrodome roof collapsed under the weight of snow. Time to leave the great white north and come to sunny Fla. Its 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky today. Cool

We're headed to -15 tonight. Shouldn't you be making a return trip for anothe tasting? We could pair it to the weather: ice wines! Razz

+1

Sunny and 11 degrees here. Went for a nice 2 mile jog. Wish we had more snow.
