getting about 8 inches of snow all day today and temperature supposed to go down to 5 with a wind chill of -15.
I am supposed to start a trial tomorrow, but that looks highly questionable.
Needing more sunscreen here in Cabo, Irwin.

Ouch.

After a week or so of temerate minus single digits, it was -26 N of Mtl yesterday (sigh)

Stay warm up there in the North.
Got colder here again, but nothing like what you guys up North are going through.

My neighbors here in Baltimore have a place in Palm Beach Gardens. They returned to Baltimore on Monday. It snowed all day Tues and this morning, the guy used his snow blower to do my sidewalks. Tomorrow they return to Florida.
It's nice to have a guy who flies in to clear your sidewalks.

Well, shoveling turned out to be a piece of cake. Much easier pushing powder than shoveling slush!

The guy that said, "Do the job right the first time, and you'll never have to do it again", obviously never had to shovel a driveway.
I want to move back to so-cal.

57 here in Key West this morning. Believe it or not it feels cold. Not expecting any sympathy though. Stay warm and safe everyone
Two more days it ain't cold. Will enjoy them for all of you!

Shoveled 14 inches here in 6 degree weather. Had to come inside a couple of times to warm up. Didn't need to go to the gym.

Boo. I will not share with you what the weather is like here in Cabo.

Then I won't tell you to consider yourself mooned!

You could not have much of a moon left after -50+.

Holy crap, spo. Nor-cal isn't exactly Siberia!

But it would still be great to have you back.

Love it when brands I sell are referenced in everyday language (Blue Moon). It means that they are selling well.
It is in the low 20's here with winds over 20 mph, resulting in a chill factor in the teens. Snow is forecast for next week. Com'on man!!

Had to get out the blankets last night. It got down to 62.

Thanks, SD. Typical -10 degrees is just the final straw.
I know and readily admit we're wimps down here when it comes to this, but opened the office at noon 2 of the last 3 working days here in Austin due to ice. Crazy thing is it got up to the high 70s over the weekend in between, and will do so again in the next 48 hours.
We're supposed to have a hard freeze tonight in Houston, with temps in the upper 20's. Will be the third time we've had a freeze this year which is unusual.
I don't normally mind the winter, and find some charm in it. However, my drive back from the Detroit area to Chicago had to be aborted on Sunday because within 5 miles of leaving, we saw cars sliding on the freeway and at least 5 accidents. So, we decided to leave yesterday, even though the weather wasn't much better. The drive typically takes around 5.5 hours. Yesterday, it took nearly 10 hours. This s**t needs to stop.
I walked out of the hospital yesterday evening, and it actually felt kinda warm for a change. The thermometer in my car read 14 (F). Yay! Positive double-digits!
Finally should get into the 20s today.
Snipes got caught in the traffic nightmare a couple of days ago in Atlanta. He just got home last night.

we expect the 40's on Saturday and Sunday.
What a relief.
My gas and electric bill is going to be over $1000, I bet.

Up in the Pacific NW it is 41F, rainy and thick cloud cover. Not bad, all things considered...

Yep, thanks for checking in on my DD. That was an adventure alright, 12 hours to go <10 miles on a single in-town street. I fared better than many though as I eventually made it to a buddy's house at 12:45 am who had the decency to have a large glass of red waiting for me. Didn't wreck the car and managed to ditch it in a parking lot 1/2 mile from his house.

Yes. I shall have to confiscate more taxes from the serfs.
Looks like ice and snow heading to NYC area. Crossing fingers the ice doesn't bring down power lines in my neighborhood. I need to fly out the following morning.
ice covering everything. You can hear the occasional crackle, and then boom, when a branch of a tree breaks off and strikes (hopefully) the ground.
Tried to walk the dog. Couldn't walk on the sidewalk, driveway. Crunchy on the lawn. Lights just flickered.
Yikes.

Oh the joyous sounds of winter. Do I miss it? Hell NO!! too many years in Rochester, New England, and Quebec
We may have missed the bullet on the icing on the power lines. But roads are still very slick.
High here today will be 0˚ but it's a beautiful, crisp, extremely clear day. We're heading to Phoenix later this week to see if it's warmer there.
This is the coldest winter I can remember. Not the highest amount of snowfall, but too frequent.
