2016 Produttori Langhe Neb - good stuff
2015 Venus Universal Dido red - good stuff
2014 Sybille Kuntz Kabinett trocken - more trocken than kabinett, good dose of petrol, tons of acidity
2008 Quinta do Vallado Touriga Nacional - was unimpressed with these in their youth, but they're starting to come around. Big.
2013 Mure Clos Saint Landelin Riesling - very good grand cru alsatian. lots of tropical fruit, good texture, bone dry.
2004 Qunitarelli Valopolicella - Awesome. Great bottle.
2016 Luis Seabra Xisto Cru Branco - Awesome. like 1er chablis, but even more minerality and acid. Cant waite to revisit again this evening.
2016 Luis Seabra Indie Xisto - Awesome. These two wines were a great intro to Seabra's wines for me and will definetly be seeking out more.
Interesting note on the Xisto Branco. All three bottles of my 2015 were corked and I haven't bothered with anything from them since. It was quite disappointing.
You had mentioned this to me not long ago and it had me nervous opening it. Our experience with the wine couldnt have been more different.
2015 Valle dell'Acate Vittoria Il Frappato
Can’t deny it’s a well-made wine. It’s just not my style. Candied fruit and savoury notes competing with each other.
Seven Falls Wahluke Slope Cabernet Sauvignon 2016. Quite rich berry fruit, good weight in the mouth with a hint of chocolate thrown into the mix.
16 Chappellet Signature cab
2/3 last night, will finish tonight. Favorite Napa cab in this price range and best value out of Napa imho
Got a sneak peek at the 2017 MacDonald. A big fruit bomb at this stage (after 8 hour double decant), but the tannins are softer and rounder than other young MacDonalds.
Oh yeah, the '01 Lafite and the '89 Unico were pretty awesome too.

Nicely done Dr. Mike.

I had one last week and felt the same way. I've really ejoyed previous vintages as lithe elegant expressions of frappato but this one saw too much heat. I couldnt get over the jolly rancher.
2015 Dehlinger-Goldridge Pinot
2016 Martinelli-Lolita Chard
With Thanksgiving dinners,
2006 Faustino gran reserva I rioja
2015 Chateau le puy Émilien (great Qpr)
2017 Riesling Julien Schaal Dchoenenbourg Gypse grand cru( a steal for 28$)
2016 Trimbach Riesling
2016 Trimbach GW
Last night before seeing Gemini Man with a friend. Both from 375:
2014 Louis Michel Montée de Tonnerre - still young, but lovely.
2009 Lous Michel Vaudesir - mildly oxidized, but drinkable.
After the movie, also from 375:
2000 Léoville Poyferré - Best showing for this bottling in my experience. Delicious. Right in the zone.
PH
2007 Wind Gap Castelli-Knight Syrah
2015 Val Delle Rose (Cecchi), Morellino di Scansano, Poggio al Leone Riserva
Very good, but expected more for the vintage.

Thanks for that PH. I have a single bottle, albeit a single serving 750 ml, and have thought about opening it a few times recently.

Hey Mimik, how did you like that Faustino?
2015 Rocca Delle Macie Chianti Reserva- nice tar, tobacco and dried fig but became more standoffish after being open a while. Maybe better to wait on this.
