I prefer hot as provides a good excuse for a cold beer. Big Grin

You know what is good? When my wife and I returned from playing golf on a very hot afternoon, I pulled a JJ Prm Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese from the refrigerator. That hit the spot!

We were in Maryland and then DC around 4th of July two years ago for a wedding. I could not believe how uncomfortable it was. The A/C in the Smithsonian buildings was taxed, to say the least. Ugh! Thankfully on 7/5 we drove up to the Finger Lakes for a few days...

Not me, I'll take the heat. I hate the cold so much. As long as there are fridges and beverages, bring on the heatwave over the bitter, bitter cold.

Come down here for a couple of days. I think you'll learn to love the cold. It's horrible out there. Ungodly hot and humid.

I think it's the same here. Still killed the patio last night. Cool Just have an Umbrella and a cold one. Shorts are a good idea, too.

The cold makes me miserable. Also get SAD syndrome, cos I never see the sunshine. Chilled to the bone. Ears and nose feel like they're gonna fall off. Eyes glazed. Murder.

Hot vs. Cold, give me hot every time.

I dunno, w+a. When cold, I can always put on another layer, hat, gloves etc. There are only so many clothes one can remove when it's hot before law enforcement gets involved. Eek There's just something really awful about a Washington DC summer day when it's 100 and humid. I just took a walk to another building in our complex (300 yard round trip) and it took 15 minutes for the sweat to evaporate and for me to cool down. Friggin' hate this heat. Mad

I agree. I would take cold vs. hot any day. I can golf in the cold, I cannot golf in the heat, especially when its humid.

That said, I'm lucky to live in a place that is rarely to hot or to cold!

Well, I have no problem playing golf in the Florida Summer humid heat...mainly because its also a time when few people are on the course. It can take 5-5 1/2 hrs in the winter/spring to play a round.

Of course, plenty of cold beers and sunscreen are required Smile
