Many of us around here must have a hobby of cooking as well as tasting different types of foods. My point is, at our home do we really appreciate our plates to be well garnished and presented as a restaurant while having the basic staple food.

Not all important, I hope. I suck at presentation.
Not important but sometimes I’ll work on presentation for fun. My wife can do wonders in making a charcuterie and cheese board look artful. We paid more attention to presentation earlier in the pandemic when looking for ways to break up the daily routine.
Completely unimportant. I don't play Food Network contest show guy at home. If it's good, I'll eat it out of the pot.
I'm terrible at plating and i too eat directly out of pans
I'll make something look "nice" if it's something prepared ahead of time (like, as mentioned above, a charcuterie plate), especially if I'm serving it to guests. However, if it's hot and prepared at the time of eating, it's pan-to-plate, come what may. Visuals be damned.
Sounds like a bunch of bachelors

With bachelors, plates be damned.
