Michael Cooperman with Hourglass Vineyards joins Binny's for an exploration of some of the finest wines in Napa Valley. Global Tasting with Innovative Winemaker Paul Hobbs

As the owner and winemaker of Paul Hobbs Winery, Paul Hobbs knows that the essence of profound wines can be traced back to meticulous care and expertise in the vineyard. As a winemaker, Paul is highly regarded for his ability to identify exceptional vineyards along with his pioneering, innovative work with new and historical sites and regions. He founded Paul Hobbs Winery in Sonoma, California in 1991 and Vina Cobos in Mendoza Argentina in 1999 and was twice named Wine Personality of the Year by Robert Parker, Jr. As a leading consultant and winemaker around the globe, we can't think of anyone better to join us for Continuing Education. Not to be missed!

Original Post
Sounds great, Otis! I wish I were still in the area. I used to by Hourglass and like it a lot. Paul Hobbs' daughter went to Cornell (might still be a student here) and he had a joint venture in the Finger Lakes with Otto Selbach. I have not heard how that's going (or if it IS still going).
