I noticed that some of the reviews are no longer available online. I thought WS is keeping all of its reviews online. Is that not the case? Do they take down some of the reviews form time to time?

Two Examples:
Laroche 96 Vaillon
Prieur Corton Bressandes 96

Anyone could shed some light on this? Thanks!

I did a quick search using our ratings page and found both the Domaine Laroche Chablis Vaillons 1996 and two '96 Cortons from Jacques Prieur: Corton-Bressandes and Corton-Charlemagne. You might have had troubles for a number of reasons: sometimes when you enter too many search terms or more than one word is misspelled, both the search and the "fuzzy" search won't yield any results. I hope this helps.

Hi, Nick:

For some reason when I log on to the wine ratings page, I still couldn't find those wines.

For example: I typed Laroche and selected 1996 vintage, and only 4 wines came up. The Vaillon is not there.

Likewise with Jacques Prieur.

And I did make sure that I signed in as a member with full access. Could you find out why?

I also did a search for these wines while logged in as a full access member and found both wines:

Chablis Vaillons 1996
Score: 94
Price: $40
Issue: Aug 31, 1998

Class act. Deep and complex, the for-now shy aromas titillate with their great promise while the wine, still closed, delivers a marvelously rich, thick mouthfeel and cascades with a multitude of flavors to a long, smooth but vibrant finish. Cellar. Best after 2005. 275 cases imported. (PM)

Winery: Jacques Prieur
Wine: Corton-Bressandes 1996
Score: 98
Price: $120
Issue: May 15, 1999

Sensational. Ultrasmooth, with classy tannins that melt in the mouth. Immensely ripe yet elegant in structure, this full-bodied, royal '96 brims with cassis, wild berry, toasted spice, chocolate, wet earth and mineral nuances that unfold their charisma to a seductive finish. Best from 2003 through 2015. (PM)

Not sure why you aren't able to find these wines when you search Confused
