Just received a flyer in the mail - sounds interesting. Hamel is a Syrah-only project founded in 1994 up in Healdsburg. Not sure how many vintages theyve produced, but the current offering is the 1999 for $36.00/btl. Im a sucker for Syrah, any experience out there with this one?

Hamel is a consistent upper eighties point producer of Syrah. It is reasonably attainable at retail however.
