I can see it provided (1) the GV is on richer side with some RS, eg. F.X. Pichler, and (2) the Indian food isn’t too spicy. It’s not going to be a great pairing with lamb/goat vindaloo. But veggie samosas? Probably pretty solid match.

Well, I couldn’t do it. Had lamb shank so I went with a 2019 The Chook, which is an interesting blend of 96% Shiraz and 4% Viognier.

My favorite Indian dish is chicken biryani, but unfortunately I can't eat it too often as my tinnitus gets much worse after spicy and salty products. Hopefully after the visit to ear wax removal doctor it will get a little better and I can enjoy my favorite dish again.
