From Germany at the moment.
Greeting from Thailand. It is extremely wet here these days but also very green and beautiful. Our next destination is Vietnam if everything goes well with our visa application here https://vietnamvisa-au.com/. How many of you guys visited the country already? Any must-see destinations?

We were in Vietnam just as COVID was beginning to become known (came home early as a result). Anyway, we stayed almost exclusively in Hội An and loved every minute of our 4 days there.

There are some folks here that visited in the 60's and 70's so not too many rec's from them
Kennebunkport. Here for a week with our kids and grandkids.
Currently in Atlanta on our way to Quito and then on to Galapagos. As we have a 7 hour layover, we actually left the airport and for a hotel tour for Stef followed by lunch. Probably 15 years or more since I have left the airport here
Beautiful downtown Syracuse!
Leaving for the airport in a little over an hour. Flying from DFW to FRA. Two weeks in Germany! Beer, Riesling, Schnitzel and Wurst for everybody!
Rio
Florida
Deep creek lake in western maryland. Out last night to the local French restaurant. Had mushroom soup, a salad with beets and blue cheese and a lamb tagine.
Galapagos - what an incredible place

Melbourne, Australia. NOT as mind blowing as the Galapagos!
Jeju-do, S. Korea.
My second time here (last time was almost exactly 10 yrs ago). Highly recommended. Such a tragic history. For a fictional account of the history, I recommend Lisa See's "The Island of Sea Women"

Not as exciting as Jeju-do, S. Korea but hey, it was only a 4 hour drive to get here.
Alsace. Ate at Rene Lalique villa.
enjoying the scenery.
in strasbourg the hotel bellman asked me if we were hesitant to come here, given the war. (Ukraine is three hours by train). I had no real concept of that, frankly.
On the train to Paris. Back in the USA on Sunday
Not yet but we leave next Wednesday for Thailand and Cambodia

If you two haven’t seen it before, you are about to view something remarkable. To me, Angor Wat is the most incredible man- made structure on the planet. I still remember seeing the sun rise behind the silhouette of the temples, stunning in its beauty, awesome in its grandeur.
Take a lot of photos; I did, and we still look at them occasionally, unlike most of the travel photos I’ve taken.
Hope you have a great time there!

Thanks. That is the plan
Angkor Wat exceeded all expectations.
Greetings from Thailand. I am really enjoying my time here now : spending the time next to the beautiful sea, drinking fresh coconut water and playing my favorite casino games https://bestcasinoplay.ca/onli...no-download-casinos/. I think I even imagine to live here permanently in the future.
Phnom Penh. Last day and long trek home starts tomorrow
JFK. Still have flight to Miami and drive to Key West. These travel days will never end. At least we went back in time. I do not recall landing before I took off previously

It's been on my bucket list for ages. However, given that my wife and older daughter have both been, it's unlikely I'll get there unless I go alone or with others. Or, I can finagle a work-related reason

As one who has offlined several times with Haggis I say without hesitation that one should travel to wherever one must to offline with him! Though Ithaca is one of the loveliest towns in upstate NY and so worth a visit even if Haggis wasn't (occasionally at least!) there!
