Greetings! I'm looking for pairing suggestions with a Tavel rosé. I have no experience with the wine, so any input would be much appreciated. I was thinking salmon, possibly smoked, or just some tapenade. Any other ideas?

Tavel is already a great food wine, anyway. I'm thinking a nice salad with a grilled protein and a balsamic dressing.
Goat cheese pairs really well, and cured meat adds to that nicely.
Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll get some goat cheese and cured meat to start, and then move on to a grilled chicken or salmon salad. Sounds delicious to me.
Balsamic, garlic and herb marinated pork tenderloin.
I love Rose with Mediterranean-influenced food, particularly stuff with olives and capers. It also works well with salads and grilled veggies. Salad Nicoise would be nice. Grilled chicken can work too if it is simply prepared.

Just curious. My bride had it in Peru last month, and found it gamy and a little tough.
To me, guinea pig tastes like tofu.
