Wow! Bow Bow There are VERY FEW wristwatches I would ever wear... The Star Wheel has always had a place on that list, and the handful of times I have seen a man wearing one, I always make it a point to compliment him on such a fine timepiece. Well done! My second favorite AP behind the first edition cabinet collection Jules Piguet.

Yes...I have read the resale is quite high on these panerai watches...the one I am looking at is the PAM 241...40mm face and fits me quite well dammit! Big Grin

$1,650 later and I have my watch back. It looks brand new but for that money you would think it would have come back in at least a felt roll if not some sort of box and not the padded paper envelop it got it in.

Marcb7 - Nothing major, just doesn't keep great time. I think she bangs it a lot which is never great for a watch. Thankfully most Panerais use a pretty basic ETA movement which is easy and cheap(ish) to work on... They might be really nicely finished but the movement is the exact same one that all the fakes use as well!

Now the JLP and Heuer movements are much more complicated and delicate. My Heuer Daytona is a pain in the arse. That caliber 12 movement is cool but finicky...

I settled on a very functional 4 watch winder sold by Brookstone. About $200, and it has multiple adjustable settings for the winder.
