haggis, Baume et Mercier is a wonderful watch company with serious history. They will celebrate their 200th anniversary in 2030. In 1973 (?) they released a SS sport watch called the Riviera which was one of the first to market SS sport watches, about the same time as the AP Royal Oak.
B&M is now part of the Richemont family which also owns the likes of, Vacheron, Piaget, JLC, IWC, A. Lange & Sohne, Cartier, Panerai and others. That’s pretty high cotton in the world of horology!
Anyway, congratulations are indeed in order! Which model did you end up buying/ loving?
