Picked this up recently and really enjoying it.

Classic moon watch! Which movement does your watch have?

Had a guy come in for a semi-senior role (Director, Institutional Sales & Trading) and he was wearing this. Don't know what to think. Part of me is "good for you!" and part of me is "why? why would you show off in an interview like that?". Chances are he just didn't think of it, but...

Just spent 3 days in Zurich. Finally succumbed to the endless temptation and bought an everyday Longine 45197744 in rose gold with a brown Jaeger alligator strap. I loved the classic look of this watch and don’t feel guilty in the least.

LB, nice buy.

I was recently in Europe and Longines is advertising like crazy and starting to sponsor sporting events again.

I love the Breguet like hands. The style has been around since 1783 for a reason. Your new timepiece also has some German influences on the dial. Very nice!

I like the Arabic numerals.

It's a fake.  I saw him on the 504 with his lunch in a  no frills bag.   On his way to the interview.

Shop HQ is right now showing an Invicta 63mm Grand Octane Coalition Forces Swiss Watch. For one hundred and fifty bucks how can you go wrong? And "it will never be offered again." Not to worry, they make about 20 new models a day.

Umm, I think you overlooked the word, fine? 🙈🤣

I bet you don't have a watch with the Batman logo. What could be finer than that?

Invicta Men's DC Comics Quartz Stainless-Steel Strap, Black, 31 Casual Watch (Model: 27098)

$270 to bring your collection up to date, what could be finer than that?

This is the thanks I get when I try to participate in a thread!

Interesting story.  I was born in Elgin, so it always intrigues me to see an Elgin Watch.  Althgouh, I had never heard of Illinois Watch Co.

Old Man, Illinois Watch Co. was a serious pocket watch company for the railroad firms after the Civil War. After the Great Depression they worked closely with Hamilton, made movements for Hamilton and I think were the exclusive movement manufacturer for all of the Hamilton rectangle timepieces.

New everyday watch. Have always liked Omega. Have an older DeVille but have wanted a Seamaster for a while now.

LB, look forward to seeing it the next time we enjoy wine together. I literally just sold my Seamaster a few weeks ago.

I picked up a new Panerai and JLC the past couple of weeks.

Let’s hookup soon.

I bought my brother this watch for his 50th.  He’s not a big watch guy, but I liked the way it looks and had his birth year on the face.
