I have two of these. How is the wine showing?
just ok like most of the peay wines I've had. I like the people at peay, but have not been impressed by the wines.
NV Trevisiol, Prosecco
1990 Trevisiol, Spumanti, Metodo Classico
2010 Domaine Tempier, Bandol, La Tourtine
2001 Sadie Family, Syrah, Columella

WOW. Great night.

A 23 year old "Prosecco"? Who knew? Excellent stuff.

La Tourtine...if you're lucky enough to own this, hold for at least 5 years.

Oldest Columella I've ever had and still a pup.

Nice brunello. I possibly over decanted though. I decanted 4 hours and I thought the fruit was fading a speck at the end. All in all though very enjoyable. Glad I have more.

W&A, what is your window on the Les Granits Blanc? I don't have experience with this wine but have purchased some 2010 and wondering how long I should let them sleep?

mangiare, I have not tried the '10 so should not offer advice. FWIW, I tend to enjoy Les Granits within the first 5 years of release, and always before their tenth year, I think.

I have not found they close down like their bigger brothers.

I would love to hear how the wine is showing when you open.

I tasted this back in September and the 2010's are a bit closed but open up beautifully with vigorous swirling. Tastes great now but could probably sleep for 3-5 more years. Definitely was not as stubborn as the Le Meal, d'Loree or l'Ermite.
