Hey, a '90 Salon will put a FAR bigger smile on your face than some $300 in your pocket....trust me. Big Grin

Oh I don't doubt it at all. The first few sips are in dramatic contrast to Salon of the 80's. This should be a nice evening Cool

The only reason I picked this up was because of your comments.

Glad it is showing well.

Enjoy!

i found the 2003 Il Poggione BdM Riserva Vigna Paganelli surprisingly good juice - hope you enjoyed

This is second time I've had it and it was very tasty on both occasions.

After trying, how long would you hold this?

Good question and I don't really know. IMO it was not nearly as good as the Raven. And I don't really think I have the experience to answer your question b/c the oldest SQN I have had was the 2004 Into the Dark Grenache (which was singing).

Looks like a hell of a lineup but please explain to me what a Harlan Napa Valley Reserve is? Is that different from the Estate?

The Napa Valley Reserve is a project from Bill Harlan:

I think the joining price is up to $225k or so now, up from the $140k it was when that article was written. I could be a few bucks off though. I'm not a member. Smile
