This is not the top 100 Ricasoli, it's the $19 label that I found on sale for $8. That being said, this is my second bottle and this one was incredibly better than the last one I had about 3 months ago. A very nice Chianti.

I know..sorry. I didnt take "official" notes but heres the "cliff" ones. All decanted for a couple hours to allow that slight "funk" to blow off and it did.

1982 is ready and terrific. IMO most likely will not improve.

1985 was off/slightly corked?

1986 is a bargain if you can find these at a reasonable price...really enjoyed it.

1989 is a beast...can age for ever.

1990 was the WOTN IMO...most likely will improve a bit but its a stunning wine.

I had the '90 a couple of years ago thanks to the ever generous asterixis. Stunning is the correct descriptor indeed.
