They sent out two types of emails. One type says, "We will be sending you information by both mail and email on October 1, providing instructions on how and when to submit an allocation request". This is the kind that went to people like me who are still on the waiting list. We are not getting an allocation, but can make an allocation request, which I assume means that we might be able to buy from what's left over after those with an allocation have placed their orders.

The second type went to people who will actually be getting an allocation, and says, "We will be sending you information via mail and email on October 1, announcing the availability of your allocation for this release."

This was on the eBob board, and Dan Kosta posted in the thread and confirmed.

You might have a pretty good chance this year. I have a feeling a lot of people that post on the Parker board will drop off the KB list.

niiiiiiice. We'll see though, the ability to turn a profit on these wines instantly would be incentive enough for people to take their allocation regardless of Parker's criticism, I would think.

Also most people on the list have had the wines and those who don't like them will have already dropped. I don't see that list moving much in the future. Most people that I know who aren't maxing out their allocation for themselves are selling the rest to friends/auctions.
