Elliptical Machines

I’ve decided to get one. I’d prefer not to spend $4k+, though I will if I absolutely have to. There seem to be good $1,700-$2,800 options, which is my ideal budget range, but I’m not sure how comfortable and reliable they are. I am very deconditioned and need a machine that will suit me from my very deconditioned state to a much more lively one.

If anyone has gone through the process of purchasing a nice elliptical machine in the past few years I’d love to read your experiences and recommendations. Thanks!
