This Rose is from Southern France, somewhere called Cote de Thongue. (I don't know where this is).
Anyway, we had it with grilled swordfish and tropical salsa and rice.
I thought is was crisp and acidic, and not at all sweet (which was good). I am not terribly informed on Roses, but I think it rates an 86 or so. It doesn't knock your socks off, but it doesn't get in the way of the food, and on a hot and humid Baltimore night, with the tropical salsa, it was rather pleasant.
